There’s a certain kind of magic at a Taconic Ridge Farm wedding, the kind that makes you stop and take a deep breath the moment you arrive. Nestled in the rolling hills of Hillsdale, New York, this Hudson Valley gem blends rustic charm with elevated elegance, making it one of my absolute favorite wedding venues to photograph.

Emma and Matt’s wedding day at Taconic Ridge Farm was everything a wedding should be…effortless, emotional, and full of heart.

One of the best parts about Taconic Ridge Farm is that everything you need is right on the property. Emma and Matt each got ready in separate houses tucked among the trees. The houses are quiet, private, and full of natural light.

When it came time for their first look, Emma and Matt chose one of the winding trails behind the property. Surrounded by tall grass and soft light filtering through the trees, it was the perfect, intimate setting.

They shared a few quiet moments together before heading off for portraits around the property. Between the open fields, wooded paths, and mountain backdrops, there’s no shortage of breathtaking spots for photos at Taconic Ridge Farm.

Their ceremony took place right on the property, overlooking the mountains in the back. Guests sat on wooden benches beneath the open air while the wind carried the sound of their vows through the hills. It was one of those scenes that perfectly captures why couples fall in love with this venue, the view alone feels like a painting.

As the sun set, everyone enjoyed an outdoor cocktail hour, then gathered inside the iconic Taconic Ridge Farm barn for dinner and dancing. The barn’s high ceilings, string lights, and wood beams created the most romantic, cozy atmosphere.
