Have you ever dreamed of a wedding that feels personal, cozy, and completely your own? An Airbnb wedding might be exactly what you’re looking for.
As a wedding photographer, I’ve captured celebrations everywhere, from mountaintop elopements to grand venues. There’s something special about an Airbnb wedding. It’s the perfect blend of intimacy and intention. No rushing between venues, no strict timelines…just you, your people, and a space that feels like home.

Airbnb weddings have gained much more traction in the recent years and for good reason. These weddings are more than just a trend, they’re a mindset. Couples are choosing meaning over tradition, connection over spectacle, and experiences over expectations.
You get to pick a space that truly reflects you. Whether it’s a cozy cabin in the Hudson Valley, a modern farmhouse in Connecticut, or a coastal retreat in Rhode Island, you can create your dream day without compromise. It also gives you way more flexibility with your budget.
The best part? You have complete freedom. You can wake up slow, sip coffee with your person, get ready together, say your vows in the backyard, and end the night under the stars or maybe even jumping into the pool!

Leah and Charlotte rented a charming New England home surrounded by orange trees and lush greenery. It felt both cozy and elevated at the same time. They spent the morning getting ready together inside, moving slowly and savoring every quiet moment. No rush, no separate timelines, just two people soaking in the start of forever.
Their ceremony took place in the front yard, framed by soft afternoon light and the sound of leaves rustling in the breeze. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, they exchanged heartfelt vows. They had all of their loved ones throw paper airplanes when they came down the aisle after their first kiss. (A new personal favorite of mine!)

Afterward, the celebration naturally flowed into the backyard, while we went to a local park to take portraits. Their backyard reception consisted of string lights, speeches, high noons and a family-style dinner. This made the evening feel like a relaxed summer gathering simple, meaningful, and full of laughter.

Leah and Charlotte brought in all of the traditions they wanted, and left out all of the ones that didn’t resonate with them. The perfect combination for a perfect intimate wedding day.

If you’re planning an Airbnb wedding and want your story captured in a way that feels real, emotional, and true to you, I’d love to be there.
